Building a custom home, renovating, or furnishing your home shouldn’t be stressful, overwhelming, or confusing.
Yet many homeowners find themselves wondering where to start and how to start. The reality is that there are hundreds of choices to make, endless materials and finishes to consider, budgets to manage, and the constant fear of making costly mistakes. You may have a clear vision for your home, but turning that vision into reality can feel overwhelming.
The good news is that you don’t have to figure it out alone. You deserve to enjoy the journey.
I’m here to guide you through the process, helping you avoid confusion, costly mistakes, and unnecessary stress while keeping your project on time and on budget. Together, we’ll create a home that reflects your lifestyle and is enjoyed by you and your loved ones for years to come.
I know this because I’ve been in your shoes.
A few years ago, my husband and I spent years searching for the perfect home for our family. We looked at new homes and older homes with renovation potential, but none of them truly fit our needs, lifestyle, or taste. So we decided to build our own instead.
Since we knew what we liked, we thought we could handle all the design decisions ourselves. We assumed the process would be straightforward and easy, and that we’d save money by not hiring an interior designer.
We were wrong!
What seemed simple quickly became overwhelming. We spent countless hours in showrooms comparing materials, selecting finishes, coordinating with suppliers and trades, managing timelines, and trying to stay within budget. The number of decisions and the amount of coordination required were exhausting.
We made costly mistakes, experienced delays, went over budget, and had to redo work that could have been avoided with the right guidance from the start.
That experience changed everything for me.
I realized that homeowners shouldn’t have to navigate one of the biggest investments of their lives feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and uncertain. Creating a home should be an exciting and rewarding experience, not a frustrating one.
That realization inspired me to pursue interior design professionally. I completed BCIT’s Residential Interior Design Diploma Program and gained hands-on experience in various areas of the industry, so I could help homeowners avoid the challenges my family faced.
Today, through Finesse Interior Solutions, I help homeowners confidently navigate custom home builds, renovations, and furnishing projects. From space planning and design concepts to material selections, furniture, finishes, and project coordination, I provide the guidance and expertise needed to help you make informed decisions every step of the way.
The result? Less stress, no costly mistakes, smarter decisions, and a home that reflects your lifestyle, needs, and personal taste.
You bring the vision. I’ll help you bring it to life, with clarity, confidence, and a plan that keeps your project on time and on budget.
